Ease Constipation with a Colon Massage
Constipation is a highly inconvenient, irritating, and uncomfortable condition. Not only do you feel heavier and bloated when you are constipated, but you also get the strange and unpleasant feeling that you’re walking around with so much waste in your body that just can’t seem to go away no matter what you do. One of the main solutions people opt for when suffering from constipation is to take laxatives, which are perfectly all right in moderation, but it is not advisable to take them frequently.
To combat constipation, nothing beats going on a fiber-rich diet or drinking water. Both will contribute to cleansing your colon, softening your stool, and making the waste elimination process smoother and easier. Of course, you can also help the process along with other methods, such as a colon massage.
A colon massage will help cleanse your colon deeply. This works to stimulate your stomach and your colon to dislodge any fecal matter that have accumulated in your body. If this fecal matter stays inside your body for a long period of time, it releases gases that stay trapped in your body, which contributes to your bloated feeling, and the waste and toxins are recirculated back into your bloodstream. Massaging your colon will prevent these from taking place. If you are constipated, you can perform the colonic massage for one to two weeks until your condition eases.
To start, lie on your back on the floor. You can use oil in this procedure to make the massage more soothing and smooth. Begin using small circular motions in your appendix area, moving up gradually toward your ribcage, then going back to the appendix area. Massaging the appendix area helps to loosen any remaining fecal matter that may have gotten stuck there. You can gradually proceed downward toward your groin, keeping the motions constant and applying pressure as needed. You might notice that there are some areas where you will experience a small amount of pain. Focus your hand motions and pressure on these areas as long as possible, since your efforts will most likely be able to loosen any remaining fecal matter. If the pain becomes intolerable, do not keep massaging the area. Make sure to see your doctor and let him or her know about this painful part of your body.
Perform the colon massage every day for at least ten minutes per session and over time, you will notice a significant difference in your condition.
