Colonic massages are easy to do and have a ton of benefits. You can give one to yourself and they relieve constipation and tightness in the abdomen. In just a few weeks, you will notice a dramatic difference in the way you feel.
You can give yourself a colon massage either lying in bed using oil or other lubricant or in the shower with lots of soap. Keeping your abdomen lubricated is the key to this technique.
Start on your right side near your appendix. Move your hand in small circular motions moving in one direction. Slowly move upward toward your rib cage. This is the path that fecal matter travels through your intestines and colon area. As you make your way around you will want to apply some pressure in that area. Over the course of a few days, you will find that you can gradually increase the amount of pressure you apply. As you perform the massage you break up fecal matter that is stuck in your colon.
After you have massaged the rib cage area, continue massaging from your right rib cage to your left, making the same circular motions. Once you reach the left side, work your way down to your groin area. You should spend about 3 minutes per day doing these massages.
