FASTING AND COLON CLEANSING

Colon cleansing is something that more and more people are beginning to understand and do, in an effort to keep their systems healthy and improve the regularity of their waste elimination. Many people exert all possible effort to keep their colons clean, eating fiber-rich foods, consuming colon cleanse mixes or pills, or even undergoing colonic hydrotherapy. In line with all these colon cleansing activities, you might also want to consider undergoing a fast.

This fast doesn’t mean you’ll be cutting out substances entirely from your system during your fast. Colon cleanse fasting involves eliminating solid food from your diet for a given number of days, replacing it with a specially prepared fluid to enable more efficient colon cleansing. For your fast, prepare by putting two tablespoons of sea salt in 1/4 cup of warm water and the same amount of lemon juice. For the duration of your fast, you can consume a mixture of water, lemon juice, and cayenne pepper. This drink is what will make up the bulk of your colon cleanse fast.

At the end of your fast, you can then begin to eat more vegetables, gradually increasing the amount. The day after you end your fast, you can resume your normal diet.
